Just as well; the blog “Los Miquis de Miami” wrote quite an account. It was just a handful of Code Pink activists, but they drew a large counter-protest because their message was so provocative and they were on the hallowed grounds of
Eggs and water were thrown at the ladies and at a French television crew.

Like I said in PD, they so deserve each other. The people that haven't figured out that Benjamin and Saavedra are two sides of the same coin either don't have a clue or don't want to.
I'm all for freedom of expression and debate but don't show up at Versailles and expect us to roll out the red carpet. Do that stuff at Bayfront, Downtown, Sobe...anywhere but in the political heart of Cuban Miami.
Of course things are better here - nothing will ever compare to the fracas at the Torch of Friendship, where some geniuses decided to protest contra funding.
There is so much irony in all of these ridiculous face-offs. How fitting is it that the Code Pinkers are treated in Miami as the "gusanos" were treated in past years in Cuba. Throwing eggs specifically calls up memories of the past...
