The idea that Cuba is now importing only 60-70% of all food consumed is a joke. For some reason, Cuba frequently does NOT include food that is imported for the tourism industry when there is talk of food importation numbers.
When you include food imported for tourists (And there may well be other categories left out) you end up hovering around 80-85%.
