The ornament identifies the car as an Oldsmobile from the 1950s, with a Rocket V8 engine (303.7 cu. in., 135 hp.) but it's hard to pinpoint the year without seeing more of the vehicle. The V8's debuted in 1949 and the ornament remained unchanged until 1957, when it was reduced in width.
wouldn't it be nice if Cubans were allowed to buy new cars so they wouldn't have to drive around in 50-60 year old cars?
