Stop trying to change the subject, Phil. Another article in today's kaosenlared.net explains exactly what was going on with that so-called "concert" for "peace." It was a set-up by those fascists Bose and Juanes, with the collusion of the CIA. They fooled us! For details, see:

Willy Chirino said positive things about the concert - waiting for Babalu to mention it. Juanes and Miguel Bose got pissed off with how they were tailed all the time by Cuban security - wating for you to mention that.

Anonymous - either you did not watch the concert or you did not pay attention. No Juanes and Bose did not tell the crowd to overthrow the regime but they did say their part. Oddly enough they seemed more intent to do so than the crowd. No one else shouted out "Cuba Libre", no one else sang along when they tried to get the crowd to sing about an "island of liberty", nobody said anything when Juanes cried out for "una familia cubana." Don't blame Juanes but the Cubans who frankly don't care or can't be bothered with speaking freely. Don't give me crap about security - there were over a million people there - there were a lot fewer that first breached the Berlin Wall that night in '89

Phil you also didn't mention that the miami based former morning shock Argentinian Ceriani was arrested for holding up a placard during the concert that read "Libertad"

I read the kaosenlared article, and the truth it reveals is shocking.

ATTENTION Leftside and AC: this is an emergency. Leave aside normal Party protocol and contact your Cell leaders *immediately* to receive new orientation from Central as to how to explain the treachery of the CIA hoaxters Juanes and Bose.

The masses must NOT be confused by this unexpected turn of events, any more than we let the masses remain uninformed the day after the Ribbentrop-Molotov Pact.

"Justice thunders condemnation." We must take rapid action NOW.

You are right, Anon 9:38. It does no good to waste time in making appropriate corrections, as the new correlation of forces is revealed.

Before the Hitler-Stalin pact in 1939, the Party line was that the world must hurl itself against the German beast to preserve Peace.

But after the Hitler-Stalin treaty was signed, and Germany invaded Poland the next day, Pete Seeger rushed onstage to give a new version to one of his songs, advising the soldiers of the Polish army that it was time to "drop that rifle and grab a gal! Yee haw!"

Afterwards, the American bourgeois press had the gall to label Pete a "Kremlin songbird" (can you believe it?)

The cell leaders order to laugh at your silly comments. Hard and loud. They wonder how pathetic and laughable you can be.

They also recommended do not engage in a discussion at your level mainly for two reasons:

a) Arguing at that level can make bystanders wonder who is the idiot and this is a public blog.

b) Once dragged down to that level of stupidity you can easily beat me with your superior experience.

Looks like AC is in dire need of a little "re-education."

"Looks like AC is in dire need of a little "re-education.""

If you mean having a lobotomy and stopping thinking by myself to use arguments like yours, I indeed need one.

Now, if you want an actual debate regarding any topic as opposed to just preaching your own POV and refusing any argument you don't like as is the norm, I'll be more than happy to oblige.

I have no idea what we are arguing about... I don't know ac and what little action I have had here with him we have not quite agreed but he did not change his mind on the concert - at least I haven't heard it.

Now what I wonder is if the right wing loonies will start seeing the concert different...because so far they haven't.

"I have no idea what we are arguing about..."

Neither I. Someone posted a link that supposedly should prove some point somewhere and leftside and I should make haste and contact some kind of cell for some unknown reason.

I smell the habitual argument "you disagree with me" equates to "you are a cuban agent", and since I don't like crapware I just answered in a kind.

This is absolutely true Cardinal. This is the reality everyone has tried to hide when talking about this. There was a palatable loss of excitement in the crowd when Bose and Juanes went onto this script.

I disagree with the explanation that Cubans "don't care" (about freedom) or "can't be bothered with speaking freely." I think they did not like the attempted politicization of this event and saw right through the gesture. It was either very naive, or very calculated (to his critics in Miami) - but either way, it fell flat in Cuba.

as did Silvio's ode to Castro...I bet you put your arms up in the air and waved them just you just didn't care. I know you don't care about anyone's freedom, but your own.

I just have a different conception of freedom Cardinal. One that recognizes there can be no freedom unless everyone is free. That there can be no freedom without dignity, without justice, without education, without culture. One that also recognizes that freedom of capital to do as it pleases necessarily involves the exploitation of labor and the environment. And that freedom is not possible as long as the masses have no access to political power.

On Planet Leftside, the Cuban masses have access to political power.

Yep, sounds like he needs an appointment with the boys at Mazorra for some "attitude adjustmant," just like that troublemaker Panfilo.

But before applying the electrodes for AC's electroshock treatment, the Party leaders will have to decide whether he is high enough up in the Nomenklatura to deserve frivolous luxury items, such an anesthetics, which are denied to those whose Party standing is low.

I'm deeply touched for such degree of concern for my wellbeing, specially coming from someone that seems to have a large deal of experience with the purposed treatment.

But don't need to worry, in the last party meeting, the three of us (me, myself and I) weighed the option but instead voted for keep the same hairdo (we couldn't agree between baldie, mohawk and punk that were the available choices).

Nevertheless, if the occasion repeats, we already agreed to go for LSD.

Well, AC, after taking LSD you will at least be orbiting a litle closer to Planet Earth than you were before.

I am shocked by AC's indiscipline and cavalier attitude. Havana must be informed at once. A file must be created on his deviationist tendencies!
